Cassell Coliseum Parking — Blacksburg, VA

Volleyball and basketball nights are nothing like a football Saturday. Most campus lots open up to the public after 5 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends, so you can usually park a five-minute walk from the door without paying a dime.

What to know before you go

  • Campus permit lots are generally open to visitors after 5 p.m. weekdays and all day on weekends — check the posted sign at the lot entrance, it's the final word.
  • The lots ringing Cassell fill first for big basketball games. If you're rolling in inside 30 minutes of tip, head straight for a garage.
  • Perry Street Garage is the reliable fallback: covered, well-lit, and an easy walk down Washington Street.
  • Accessible parking is closest at the Cassell/Coliseum lot off Spring Road — bring your placard.
